Kjartan Þórsson is a MD, CEO & Co-founder of Prescriby. Since 2020, Kjartan has been engaged with health systems, clinicians and patients in N-America, Iceland and the Nordics in facilitating upstream approach using digital health to ensure safer treatments of prescription opioids and other addictive medicine. Additionally, Kjartan is an Advisory Board Member at the Iceland Health Tech Cluster and a Mentor with KLAK – Icelandic startups.
